Email Transfer is a feature available on Interac e-Transfer, in which you will be notified via Email or SMS Text when a transfer is pending your acceptance and you will be prompted to answer a security question. This means the withdrawal will not be automatically deposited into your online banking account.
To accept your funds, please follow these steps:
- When the withdrawal is approved and processed, you would receive an email and SMS with instructions to accept the transfer.
- Login to your online banking portal and follow the instructions to accept the transfer.
- Funds would be credited to your bank account within 1-3 business days.
