What else can I do to help Geo-Locate myself?
We are sorry you are having a hard time with location services.
It can also help to locate yourself on Google Maps. We compare the Wi-Fi networks in your area against Google's Wi-Fi database. If your computer can see any networks that are on this database, then we can use this to determine your location. You do not need to connect to these, just be able to see those available in your area.
When you do this from your phone, it may say 'Google wishes to locate you'. You would need to click 'Allow' and then the map will zoom into your location.
If you are on the newest Google Maps which doesn't show the dot above the symbol of a man, then you would first need to click the question mark symbol towards the bottom right and then click 'Return to classic Google Maps'. This will then take you to the classic maps where you can click the gray dot.
