Google Maps Troubleshooting
We're sorry you’re having trouble with geolocation—let’s try a few more things to get you back in the game!
If your phone has GPS or Wi-Fi, please make sure both are turned on before moving to the next step.
Try locating yourself using Google Maps:
- Click here to open Google Maps.
- Tap the gray dot above the yellow “Street View” figure—this will try to pinpoint your location.
- Do this first on your mobile phone, then try on your computer.
- When prompted, click “Allow” so Google can access your location and zoom in on the map.
If you don’t see the gray dot, click the question mark (?) at the bottom right and choose “Return to classic Google Maps”—this may help it appear.
Keep in mind, Google Maps can take up to 24 hours to fully update your location, so please try again a little later if needed.
