When does my Session Limit start and reset?

Understanding Session Limits and Reset Times

We understand how important it is to stay in control and aware of your playtime while enjoying our site. That's why we offer Session Limits, a valuable tool designed to help you manage your playtime and support a more mindful gaming experience.

How Session Limits Work

Session Limits let you set the maximum amount of time you can spend playing during a session, helping you enjoy your favorite games while staying responsible and balanced.

  • Session Start:
    When you set a Session Limit for the first time, your timer begins as soon as you click ‘Save Session Limit’ and confirm. The countdown will include any time already spent in the current session before the limit is set.
    • If you already have a Session Limit, each new session starts when you log in.
    • Your session ends when you log out or are logged out automatically due to inactivity.
    • If your limit expires while you’re in a game, you’ll be allowed to finish your current round, then you’ll be logged out until your limit resets.

How Session Limit Resets Work

  • Your session limit resets 24 hours after your most recent play session ends. This means you must wait a full 24 hours after finishing a session before you can start again.

Examples of Session Limit Resets

  • Single Session:
    If you play for 1 hour from 10:00 AM–11:00 AM, your session limit resets at 11:00 AM the next day. You can start a new session anytime after that.
  • Split Sessions:
    If you play 30 minutes at 10:00 AM and another 30 minutes at 8:00 PM, your session limit resets at 8:00 PM the following day. Your next session can start any time after that.

Viewing Limit History

To view your Session Limit history:

  1. Log into your account.
  2. Click the Menu button.
  3. Scroll down to Play Responsibly.
  4. Select RG Limit History to view changes over the past 12 months.
