Clearing cache and cookies can resolve many geolocation issues and is different for each browser and device:

• Chrome: Settings > Privacy & Security > Clear Browsing Data
• Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies & Site Data > Clear Data
• Edge: Settings > Privacy > Clear Browsing Data > Choose What to Clear
• Safari: Safari Menu > Clear History > Select Timeframe
• Android Apps: Settings > Apps > [App Name] > Storage > Clear Cache
• iOS Apps: Hold app > Remove App > Reinstall

Please note that clearing will sign you out of most sites.

Typically, you only need to install the GeoComply Plugin once. Occasionally, updates are pushed out to improve geolocation accuracy. If prompted to reinstall, it may mean the plugin was not fully installed, or it’s not running in your browser. Try another browser (like Google Chrome) and make sure security software isn’t blocking the install.

• In Chrome, type chrome://plugins in the address bar and make sure the ‘Always Allow’ box next to GeoComply.
• If the plugin isn’t listed, re-open your Downloads and double-click the plugin file to complete installation.

YYou usually only need to install the Geolocation Plugin once, but sometimes updates are released to improve accuracy and keep your gaming uninterrupted. If an update is required, you’ll be prompted to install it on any device you use—it’s quick and easy, and once installed, you can log in and play as usual.

If you’re asked to download the plugin again, it may not be fully installed or running on your browser. Try using a different browser, like Google Chrome, and ensure any security software isn’t blocking the installation. 

To remove the Geolocation Plugin:

• Windows: Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a Program. Remove GeoComply/Player Location Check/Bally Bet Geolocation, delete the Geocomply folder in C:\Program Files (x86), then restart and clear your browser’s cache.
• Mac: Finder > Applications. Delete GeoComply or Player Location Check. Empty the Trash, restart your Mac, and clear your browser’s cache.

• Open Settings.
• Tap Wi-Fi.
• Toggle it On.
• Choose your Wi-Fi network from the list, enter your password if asked, and tap Connect.

• Open Settings.
• Tap Network & Internet or Connections.
• Select Wi-Fi and toggle it On.
• Choose your network, enter the password if needed, and connect.

To play or cash out wagers, you must have location services enabled within Ontario. Make sure the Bally Bet Sportsbook & Casino app has permission.

For iOS:

• Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services
• Scroll to Bally Bet
• Set to 'While Using the App' or 'Always'
• Toggle 'Precise Location' On

For Android:

• Settings > Location
• Make sure Location is On
• App Permissions > Bally Bet > Allow only while using the app
• Ensure 'Use Precise Location' is enabled

If location permissions are denied, betting won't be possible.

You can place real money bets only while in Ontario. Geolocation confirms your location for safe, legal play. You can still manage your account, deposits, or withdrawals from anywhere in Canada, but real money wagering is only available inside Ontario. If you leave Ontario during a game, your session will end automatically, but pending wagers will be saved until you return. Residency is not required—just be physically in Ontario to play.
